Oziama specializes in Cargill products, particularly, Starch, Gluten, Polyols, Salt and Sugar. We also can provide other ingredients required by today's large scale commercial food grade manufacturers and others using large quantities of ingredients but are less than a trailer load of ingredients from the manufacturers. OZIAMA has been in business for over 14 years. The genesis of Oziama is the AMAIZO company. AMAIZO was also known as the American Maize Products Company. Maize is the Native
American word for the corn that the company turned into a long list of products for
commercial and industrial uses. Amaizo was purchased by the Cerestar Company and is now
part of Cargill, Inc., one of the largest, privately-owned businesses providing food and
agricultural products around the globe. Oziama International was established to fulfill the role of distributing starch products. Since its establishment, Oziama has grown and expanded. In 2001, the company moved to its current location, a 35,000 sq. ft warehouse in Fridley MN. Oziama is a primary distributor for the full line of Cargill starches and gluten as well as sugars, dextrose, salts and spices. Today, Oziama serves the largest meat, dairy and seafood processors in Minnesota as well as other Fortune 500 commodity food processors in the four state area bordering Minnesota. |
